A post on Truth Social and X called "artificial intelligence" inaccurate and asked followers to pick a replacement: superior, extreme or supreme intelligence.
The UN announcement
From the General Assembly rostrum, the President said the word artificial "makes intelligence sound fake", and closed with: "Welcome to the new world of super intelligence — SI."
The memo
The State Department's international organisations bureau emailed staff a notice titled "Change in Nomenclature AI to SI", asking them to swap the term across documents, positions and press material. US representatives began using SI at the UN Security Council.
